Yesterday was an amazing day for the Northwest Ohio ISSA and the security community in Northwest Ohio. Special thanks to Chris Roberts, Jerod Brennen, and Chris Clymer for giving back to the community! BIG thank you goes to Jordan Valdiviez, and Varonis for helping with the successful event. It was amazing to see so many students from Tiffin University in attendance. Cyber is constantly changing… We need to put more time into our future leaders. The future is looking better and better as these events go on.

The Northwest Ohio ISSA conducted their third chapter meeting on 9-6-18. The chapter was thankful enough to have a local leader, Paul Townley, present his topic “Machine learning and automation opportunities to enhance security.” For not being an official chapter yet, It was amazing to have 40 people in attendance! This was also the final meeting needed to officially start working on the paperwork to file the chapter! More details will come within the next few weeks! Also, a special thanks to CentraComm for being an awesome sponsor!
